BIOGRAPHIE

George Boston est né en Angleterre en 1712. Il était un musicien et compositeur autodidacte. Il est surtout connu pour son travail dans le domaine de la musique religieuse. Il a composé de nombreux hymnes et des anthems, qui sont encore chantés aujourd'hui. Il a également écrit plusieurs œuvres profanes, dont plusieurs opéras. Il est décédé en 1775.
