Solis to jest francuski artysta muzyczny urodzony w 1978 roku. Pochodzi z przedmieść Paryża i zaczynał swoją karierę grając na gitarze w paryskich klubach rockowych. W 2000 roku podpisał kontrakt z francuską wytwórnią muzyki elektronicznej Ed Banger Records. Jego debiutancki album, zatytułowany prosto "Solis", został wydany w 2001 roku, a następnie dwa kolejne albumy "2" w 2003 roku i "3" w 2005 roku. Solis współpracował również z wieloma artystami, w tym z francuskim DJ-em i producentem muzycznym Davidem Guettą. W 2010 roku wydał swój czwarty album "4", który odniósł sukces komercyjny i osiągnął pierwsze miejsce w rankingach francuskich. Solis ceniony jest jako jeden z najlepszych artystów francuskiej sceny muzyki elektronicznej.
