South Pole is een Franse artiest die in 1977 in Lyon is geboren. Hij begon zijn carrière als DJ en elektronische muziekproducent in 2000. In 2003 bracht hij zijn eerste album uit, "Pole Position", dat door de critici zeer positief werd ontvangen. Daarna bracht South Pole verschillende andere albums uit, zoals "In the Zone" (2004), "The Chase" (2005), "The Drop" (2006) en "The Run" (2007). In 2009 bracht hij zijn eerste live-album uit, "Live at the Olympia", dat erg populair was bij het publiek. South Pole is ook bekend om zijn samenwerkingen met andere artiesten, waaronder de Franse DJ's en producenten David Guetta, Bob Sinclar en Martin Solveig.
