"4 Strings" is een Nederlands trance muziekduo, opgericht in 1998 door Jan De Vos en Carlo Resoort. Vanaf het begin scoorden ze hits met nummers als "Day Time" en "Take Me Away (Into The Night)", die werden opgepikt en veel gedraaid door internationale DJ's. 4 Strings was niet alleen succesvol met eigen nummers, maar ook met remixen van populaire artiesten. Het duo bestaat uit Carlo Resoort als producent en Jan De Vos als DJ. Oorspronkelijk maakte zangeres Vanessa van Hemert deel uit van het duo, maar zij besloot in 2005 te vertrekken en werd vervangen door verschillende zangstemmen in latere nummers. Ondanks de vele wisselingen in zangtalent, blijft de unieke sound van 4 Strings herkenbaar. Het collectief is nog steeds actief en produceert muziek die geliefd is bij fans wereldwijd. Ze hebben een blijvende indruk achtergelaten op de trancebeweging en blijven de toekomst van het genre beïnvloeden met hun innovatieve composities.
