Chris Cockerill è un artista di musica elettronica e techno-ambient, nato in Inghilterra nel 1965. Ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale come bassista in un gruppo rock chiamato The Alarm, prima di diventare un produttore e DJ solista. Chris Cockerill ha pubblicato diversi album e singoli sia sotto il suo vero nome che sotto lo pseudonimo "The Orb". Tra i suoi brani più famosi ci sono "Little Fluffy Clouds", "Blue Room" e "Assassin".
