Beyond è un gruppo rock di Hong Kong formatosi nel 1983. Il gruppo originariamente era composto da Wong Ka Kui, Wong Ka Keung, Yip Sai Wing e Paul Wong. Beyond è famoso per le sue canzoni impegnate con temi sociali e politici, come la giustizia sociale e la libertà. Il gruppo ha acquisito una grande popolarità a Hong Kong e in Asia orientale negli anni '80 e '90. La loro canzone più famosa, "Glorious Days" (光輝歲月), è un omaggio a Nelson Mandela e alla sua lotta contro l'apartheid in Sud Africa. La tragica morte del leader e cantante Wong Ka Kui nel 1993 a seguito di una caduta durante uno show televisivo in Giappone ha segnato una svolta per il gruppo. Dopo la morte di Wong Ka Kui, Beyond ha continuato a produrre musica e a fare tour, sebbene la loro popolarità e influenza siano diminuite. Il gruppo ha alla fine deciso di diventare inattivo nel 2005.
