Il gruppo musicale di trance britannico DT8 è stato fondato nel 1999 da Darren Tate e Daniel Gildenlöw. Hanno pubblicato due album in studio: "Destination" nel 2002 e "Under Construction Part 1" nel 2003, prima della loro separazione nel 2006. Successivamente, Darren Tate ha intrapreso una carriera solista sotto il nome Darren Tate vs. Jono Grant, con due album al suo attivo: "Let the Light Shine In" nel 2008 e "Ascend" nel 2009.
