Alok è un DJ e produttore musicale brasiliano di musica elettronica di talento che è apparso sulla scena musicale mondiale nel 2015 con il suo singolo di successo 'Hear Me Now'. Nato il 26 agosto 1991 a Goiânia, in Brasile, Alok Petrillo, noto anche sotto il suo nome d'arte Alok, è cresciuto in un ambiente musicale. I suoi genitori erano DJ e hanno fondato il festival di musica Universo Paralello, introducendo la musica ad Alok fin dalla tenera età. Alok si è rapidamente imposto tra i DJ internazionali grazie al suo stile distintivo che mescola musica progressive house con suoni brasiliani più tradizionali. È stato classificato tra i migliori 100 DJ al mondo da DJ Mag e ha collaborato con numerosi artisti di fama mondiale, tra cui Anitta e Armin van Buuren. Oltre alla sua musica, Alok è anche riconosciuto per il suo lavoro filantropico. È uno dei fondatori dell'Istituto Alok, un'organizzazione di beneficenza che supporta l'educazione e incoraggia l'impegno sociale nei giovani.
