Solarstone, de son vrai nom Richard John Mowatt, est un producteur de musique britannique, DJ et fondateur du label Pure Trance Recordings. Actif depuis les années 1990, Solarstone est principalement associé au genre trance. Il est connu pour ses compositions mélodiques percutantes et son style de production de qualité. Il a connu le succès en 1999 avec son single "Seven Cities", qui est devenu un classique de la trance. Depuis lors, Solarstone est resté influent dans la scène trance internationale. Tout au long de sa carrière, Solarstone a sorti cinq albums studio, tous salués par la critique : 'AnthologyOne', 'Touchstone', 'Pure', 'Shield' et 'Blue'. Il a également publié plusieurs compilations de mixage, y compris la série bien reçue 'Solaris International'. En plus de sa carrière de producteur et de DJ, Solarstone est le fondateur du label Pure Trance Recordings, un label dédié à la propagation de la musique trance dans sa forme la plus pure. Il est également connu pour son podcast hebdomadaire 'Pure Trance Radio', qui est écouté par des milliers de fans de musique trance dans le monde entier. Engagé à préserver les valeurs du genre trance qu'il aime tant, Solarstone continue de produire de la musique, de jouer en live et de soutenir la scène trance à travers ses nombreux projets.
