Zehavi & Rand is an Israeli music duo consisting of singer-songwriter Gal Zehavi and producer-composer Gilad Rand. The two have been making music together since meeting as students at Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts in Givatayim. Rand is a classically trained pianist and composer, and has composed music for film and television. Zehavi is a self-taught singer-songwriter who has been performing since her teenage years. The two began collaborating on Zehavi's first album, "Somewhere Else," released in 2006. Since then, Zehavi & Rand have released three additional albums: "The Space in Between" (2008), "Invisible" (2010), and "The Weight of Things" (2013). They have also composed music for film and television, including for the Israeli drama "Be'Tipul" and the American film "The Debt."
