BIOGRAPHY
Yakooza is a French music group formed in 1991. The group is made up of four members: Yann (vocals, guitar), Franck (guitar), Sébastien (bass) and Nicolas (drums).
The group experienced commercial success with their second album, ICQ, released in 1996. The album reached second place on the French charts and was certified double platinum. The single "How Are You?" was a hit in France, reaching fourth place on the charts. The group also released an album in 2001, titled Yakooza, but it did not have the same success as the previous one.
In 2003, Yakooza participated in the soundtrack of the film The Crimson Rivers 2: The Angels of the Apocalypse, with the title "Crazy World."
The group disbanded in 2006, but reunited in 2016. They released a new album, Resurrection, in 2017. The album reached fourth place on the French charts.
