Deeman, born April 13, 1992 in Lille, is a French rapper. After starting his career in underground rap, Deeman became known to the general public in 2016 with his single "Bae", which reached fourth place in French musical charts. He released his first album, "The Wave", in 2017, which featured in the top 10 best-selling albums in France.
Originally from the northern districts of Lille, Deeman began rapping at the age of 15, inspired by artists such as Booba, Rohff and La Fouine. In 2010, he made his first steps in underground rap with the collective "Les Sales Gosses", before releasing his first mixtape, "Deeman Is Back", in 2012.
In 2016, Deeman signed a contract with independent label "Rec. 118" and released his hit single "Bae". Certified gold in France, it reached fourth place in French musical charts.
His first album, "The Wave", released in 2017, was a commercial success, ranking among the top 10 best-selling albums in France and obtaining gold certification. It was also certified platinum in Switzerland.
In 2018, Deeman released the single "Tout le monde veut des lovés", which reached number one in French musical charts.
In 2019, Deeman released his second album, "Bae 2", which ranked in the Top 5 best-selling albums in France and was certified gold.
