BIOGRAPHY
Uknl is a French music group composed of five members: Pierre-Alexandre Bouchard (vocals, guitar), Benjamin Cohen-Hadria (guitar), Antoine Gaillet (keyboards), Raphaël Chassin (bass) and Jérémy Héraud (drums). Their music is influenced by punk, rock and ska.
The group was formed in 2006 in Paris. They released their first album, "Débuts", in 2007. In 2009, they released their second album, "En avant", which was well received by critics. In 2011, they released their third album, "3", which was even more well received than the previous one. In 2013, they released their fourth album, "4", which was very well received by critics. In 2016, they released their fifth album, "5", which was even more acclaimed than the previous one. In 2019, they released their sixth album, "6", which was also well received by critics.
The group has been nominated for several awards, including the Victoires de la Musique, and has won several awards, including the Constantin Prize in 2009 and the Grand Prix de l'Académie Charles Cros in 2013.
Uknl has toured extensively in France, Europe, and North America. They have also performed in Japan, Australia, and New Zealand.
In 2020, the group announced that they would be disbanding after 14 years of career.
