BIOGRAPHY
Timo Pralle is a German musical artist born in Berlin in 1968. Coming from a musical family, he began studying music at the age of six. After graduating in 1986, he pursued his studies at the University of Berlin, specializing in composition and music science. In 1991, he obtained his doctorate in music and became a lecturer at the University of Cologne, before becoming a professor at the University of Bielefeld in 1998.
Timo Pralle is a prolific composer, having written a variety of musical styles, from classical to pop. His works have been performed worldwide and have received numerous awards. In 2006, he was named Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French Ministry of Culture.
In addition to his musical career, Timo Pralle is a pioneer in electronic music, having invented several electronic instruments, such as the TimoPralle-Synthesizer and the Prallel-Synthesizer. He is also passionate about astronomy and has written several books on the subject, including "The Cosmos: A User's Guide" in 2010, a comprehensive guide to the universe for astronomy enthusiasts.
