Tillmann Uhrmacher (born June 16, 1970 in Offenbach am Main, Germany) was a German techno music producer and DJ.
Uhrmacher began his musical career playing classical piano, but quickly became interested in electronic music. In 1987, he began producing techno music and released his first single, "On the Run", in 1990. This single was a success and helped to establish him in the techno music scene. In 1991, his first album, "Tillmann Uhrmacher Presents Bassfly", was released to success in Germany. Two more albums followed, "Tillmann Uhrmacher Presents D-Shake" (1992) and "Tillmann Uhrmacher Presents U96" (1993).
In 1994, he achieved his greatest commercial success with "Tillmann Uhrmacher Presents Heaven's Gate", which reached second place on the German charts. Another album, "Tillmann Uhrmacher Presents Atlantic Ocean", followed in 1995. He released his last album, "Tillmann Uhrmacher Presents Dance 2 Trance", in 1996, before retiring from the music scene.
Tillmann Uhrmacher passed away on March 21, 2011, at the age of 40.
