Sven Der Beuken is a Belgian musical artist born in 1977 in Genk, Belgium. He began his career playing the trumpet in a local orchestra, later studying piano and composition at the Royal Music Academy of Brussels. In 2001, he co-founded the Belgian jazz group "Aka Moon" with whom he released several albums and was nominated for numerous awards, including the prestigious Django Reinhardt Prize. In 2010, Sven released his first solo album titled "The Way of the Sun". He has also composed music for the Belgian film "The Broken Circle Breakdown".
