Steve Hill is a Canadian musical artist born in 1966 in Montreal, Quebec. He began his career playing guitar in the city's rock clubs in the 1980s. In 1989, he formed the band Steve Hill & The Suspects with whom he released two albums, "One More Mile" (1991) and "No More Alibis" (1992). In 1993, Hill decided to go solo. His first solo album, "The One-Man Blues Rock Band", was released in 1995. Since then, he has released several other albums including "Live at the Ironwood" (1996), "Extreme Blues" (1997), "Live at the Montreal International Jazz Festival" (1998), "Live at the Montreal International Jazz Festival" (1999), "Solo Blues" (2000), "Blues Guitar Virtuoso" (2001) and "Live in Europe" (2002). Hill has also recorded several live albums. In 2003, he released the album "Solo Acoustic Blues", followed by "Live at the Montreal International Jazz Festival" in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. He continues to perform solo and with his band Steve Hill & The Suspects.
