BIOGRAPHY
John Williams is an American composer and conductor born on February 8, 1932, in New York. He is regarded as one of the greatest film music composers of all time.
Williams has composed the music for several classic films, including the Star Wars saga, Superman, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, the Harry Potter series, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jurassic Park, and Schindler's List. He has also composed music for various television series, such as The Simpsons and The Young and the Restless.
Williams has received numerous awards, including five Oscars, four Golden Globes, seven Grammy Awards, and two Emmy Awards. In 2016, he was named Commander of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French Ministry of Culture.
