Shingo Nakamura is a Japanese musical artist born on June 16, 1981, in Nagoya, Japan. He is known for his electronic compositions and remixes of popular songs. Nakamura began his musical career in 1998 as a DJ and house music producer. In 2003, he signed with Dutch label Black Hole Recordings and released his first album, First Day. He has since released several other albums and singles, and has remixed songs for artists such as Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, and Above & Beyond. In 2012, Nakamura was ranked 92nd on DJ Magazine's list of the Top 100 DJs in the World. He is currently signed with the label Anjunabeats.
