BIOGRAPHY
SHATO (stylized as SHATO) is a French singer born on March 1, 1990 in Boulogne-Billancourt.
He began his career as a rapper, under the stage name "Nekfeu", as part of the group 1995 with two of his friends. The trio gained recognition with their first album, Parapluie, in 2012. SHATO left the group in 2014 to focus on his solo career.
His first solo album, Feu, was released in 2015 and reached the top of the French charts. The album was certified gold in France.
SHATO is also known for his collaborations with various other artists, including French singer M. Pokora, with whom he released the single "Envole-moi" in 2016.
In 2019, SHATO released his second solo album, Lune froide. The album topped the French charts and was certified gold.
In addition to his music career, SHATO has also appeared in several films, such as La Haine (1995), Les Rivières Pourpres (2000) and À l'Intérieur (2007).
