BIOGRAPHY
Ron van der Beuken (born in 1968) is a Dutch trance music producer and DJ.
Van der Beuken began his career as a DJ at the end of the 1980s. In the early 1990s, he began producing music under the name "Bocca Grande". His first release was the track "Bocca Grande" in 1992, followed by other tracks and remixes. In 1995, he founded the record label Black Hole Recordings with Ferry Corsten. Black Hole Recordings subsequently released a number of tracks and remixes by van der Beuken, as well as those of other artists.
In the late 1990s and early 2000s, van der Beuken began releasing music under his own name, and his tracks began receiving support from some of the biggest names in trance music, including Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, and Paul van Dyk. His track "Timeless" (2003) was voted "Tune of the Year" by listeners of van Dyk's radio show.
Van der Beuken has released numerous tracks and remixes on various labels, including Armada Music, Black Hole Recordings, and Spinnin' Records. He has also performed at many major music festivals, including Tomorrowland and the Ultra Music Festival.
