Quincy Weigert is an electronic music and hip-hop artist born in New York in 1981. He began his musical career playing guitar in a punk rock band before turning to hip-hop and producing his own tracks. In 2003, he released his first album, titled "The Quincy Weigert EP". Following this, Quincy Weigert collaborated with renowned artists such as Talib Kweli, El-P and Aesop Rock, and released his second album, "The Quincy Weigert LP", in 2007. He also worked as a producer for artists such as Jay-Z, 50 Cent and Busta Rhymes. His third album, "The Quincy Weigert EP", was released in 2012. Quincy Weigert is also known for his remixes and mixtapes, including the mixtape "The Quincy Weigert Mixtape" released in 2013. He is currently signed with the independent American record label Fool's Gold Records.
