"Pluton, also known as Jacques Pluton, is a French electronic music artist born on July 21, 1966 in Lille. He is considered one of the pioneers of the French techno scene. During the 1980s, he was part of the group D.A.F. before embarking on a solo career with the album 'Pluton' in 1989. He then collaborated with Laurent Garnier on several albums, including '30' in 1996 and 'Unreasonable Behaviour' in 2000. In 2003, he founded the label Mental Groove, on which he released the album 'The Power of the Dark Side' in 2004. In 2009, he returned with a new solo album, 'From Beyond'. Pluton has also collaborated with numerous artists, such as The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers, and Moby. His music has been featured in numerous compilations and films, including 'The Matrix' and 'The Beach'. In 2014, he was named 'Electronic Music DJ of the Year' at the Victoires de la musique électronique."
