Planet Funk is an Italian electronic music group, formed in 1999 by Sergio Della Monica, Alex Uhlmann, Domenico "GG" Canu, Marco Baroni, Sergio Mussida, and Alessandro Sommella. The group is best known for their hits "Chase the Sun" and "Inside All The People". Their music blends a variety of genres, including house, electronic, and funk. The group hails from Naples, Italy. They first found international success with "Chase The Sun", which reached the top 5 in the UK and Australia. Since then, they have released five albums, all well-received by critics. In addition to their music career, the group members have also done a variety of production and remix work for other artists.
