Phil York, also known as Phillip York, is a British DJ and techno music producer. York began his DJ career in 1988 and has since played at clubs and festivals around the world. He has released numerous singles and albums, both as a solo artist and in collaboration with various groups. He is best known for his work with the group The Tidy Boys, with whom he released several successful singles and albums. York is also a member of the hard dance supergroup The Advent, alongside DJs and producers Chris Liebing and Cisco Ferreira. The group has released two albums, The Advent Resilience (2007) and The Advent Equinox (2009). York is considered a pioneer of the hard dance genre and is highly regarded for his technical skills and innovative approach to DJing and production.
