Oceania is a French music group originating from Bordeaux. The group is composed of five musicians: Nicolas Leroux (vocals, guitar), Benjamin Leblanc (guitar), Pierre-Louis Roques (keyboards), Jérémy Gautier (bass) and Alexandre Carpentier (drums). The group was formed in 2009 and released its first album, titled "Oceania", in 2012. The album was well received by critics and was nominated for the prestigious Independent Music Prize. In 2013, the group released its second album, "Renaissance", which was even better received than the first. In 2014, the group released its third album, "Aurora", which was hailed by critics as their best album to date. The album was supported by a tour in France and Switzerland, and the group also participated in the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival. The group continues to tour and produce quality music, and is considered one of the best French music groups currently active.
