Mike Sanders is an American musician, born in 1967. He began his career playing rock and blues in the clubs of San Francisco. In 1992, he founded the band Mike Sanders and the Soul Providers, which performed in various blues clubs and festivals in the region. In 1997, the band released their first album "The Blues is Alive and Well", which received critical acclaim. In 2000, their second album "Live at the Fillmore" was recorded during a concert in San Francisco. In 2003, they released their third album "The Best of the Soul Providers", featuring covers of classic blues songs. In 2006, their fourth album "The Blues is Alive and Well 2" is a live album. In 2009, their fifth album "The Soul Providers Live" was recorded during a concert in San Francisco.
