BIOGRAPHY
Willie McGregor, better known by his stage name MC Miker G, (born July 9, 1961) is a Dutch rapper and producer. He is best known for his work with DJ Dee Nasty in the 1980s.
McGregor began his career rapping over disco tracks with Dee Nasty in 1982. They subsequently released their first album, 'Dance, Dance, Dance', in 1984. Their second album, 'The Kings of Rap', was released in 1985.
In 1986, McGregor left Dee Nasty to produce his own music. He released several solo albums, including 'Miker G & MC Miker G' (1987), 'This Is Hardcore' (1988) and 'The Harder They Come' (1989).
In 1990, McGregor founded his own label, G-Stone Recordings, on which he released several albums, including 'The G-Stone Collection' (1991) and 'The G-Stone Project' (1995).
In 2006, McGregor was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. After undergoing surgery, he was able to overcome the disease.
In 2016, McGregor released his album 'The Journey', which received critical acclaim.
