Mark Thornton is an electronic music and techno-pop artist from Los Angeles, California. He began his musical career playing guitar and bass in independent rock bands in the 1990s. In 1999, he co-founded the electronic music group Sugar Ray, with whom he released two albums and performed in numerous clubs and festivals. In 2006, Thornton embarked on a solo career and released his first album, "The Electric Sunrise," in 2007.
