MK (real name Marc Kinchen) is an American DJ, record producer, and remixer. He is best known for his 1992 single "Always", which reached number one in the UK.
Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, MK began his DJ career at the end of the 1980s. He gained popularity in the 1990s with his remixes of songs by artists such as Michael Jackson, Madonna, and CeCe Peniston. In 1992, he released his first single "Always", which topped the charts in the UK and became one of the biggest dance hits of the decade. Other notable singles by MK include "Burning", "Give Me All Your Luvin'", "4 U", and "Push The Feeling On".
As a producer, MK has worked with numerous high-profile artists, such as will.i.am, Snoop Dogg, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, and Kylie Minogue. He has also released several well-received mix albums, including his Fabriclive mix (2006) and his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix (2007).
MK is currently one of the most in-demand DJs in the world, performing at major clubs and festivals around the globe. He is also a regular headliner at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami.
