Marie-Mai Bouchard, born on July 7, 1984 in Varennes, is a Quebec singer-songwriter.
Discovered at the age of 13 by producer Marc Dupré during a singing competition, Marie-Mai released her first album "Inoxydable" in 2003. This album, which includes the single "C'est moi", sells more than 50,000 copies and earns her a Félix for Album of the Year at the ADISQ Gala.
In 2006, Marie-Mai released her second album "Dangereuse attraction", which includes the singles "Emmène-moi", "Je reviens" and "Tous les sens". The album sells more than 100,000 copies and earns her two Félix, including Album of the Year.
In 2009, Marie-Mai released her third album "Miroir", containing the singles "Comme avant", "Emmène-moi (Version acoustique)" and "Encore une nuit". The album sells more than 200,000 copies and earns her two Félix, including Album of the Year.
In 2012, Marie-Mai released her fourth album "Miroir", which includes the singles "C'est moi (Version acoustique)", "Je danse" and "Je veux tout". The album sells more than 400,000 copies and earns her two Félix, including Album of the Year.
In 2015, Marie-Mai released her fifth album "MM", containing the singles "Je veux tout (Version acoustique)", "Mon paradis" and "Sans cri ni haine". The album sells more than 500,000 copies and earns her two Félix, including Album of the Year.
Marie-Mai has also participated in several television shows such as Star Académie, La Voix and La Voix Junior.
