Kyo is a French rock band formed in 1994. Originating from Yvelines, it consists of Benoît Poher on vocals, Florian Dubos on guitar, Nicolas Chassagne on guitar, and Fabien Dubos on drums. The group experienced significant success in the 2000s with hits like "Le Chemin", "Dernière danse", and "Je cours". Their music often combines catchy melodies with deep lyrics, exploring themes such as love, loneliness, and the search for meaning. Their first major album, "Le Chemin", was released in 2003 and marked their rise in the French music industry. They continued to release other albums, receiving several awards including Victoires de la Musique. After a hiatus in the 2010s, Kyo returned with the album "L'équilibre" in 2014, followed by "Dans la peau" in 2017, confirming their important place on the French rock scene. The band has evolved while staying true to their unique sound, allowing them to maintain a solid fan base and attract new generations of listeners.
