"Kate Ryan is a Belgian dance-pop singer, born on July 22, 1980 in Ans. She began her career in 2001 as the lead singer of the English pop band Dream to Remember. It wasn't until 2006 that she began a solo career with her first single "Je t'adore". Her first album, "Alive", was released in 2007 and reached the top 10 of sales in Belgium. In 2008, she released her second album, "Free", which topped the sales charts in Belgium and was certified platinum.
