Josh Gabriel is an American electronic music producer, DJ, and songwriter. He is best known as a member of the duo Gabriel & Dresden, alongside Dave Dresden. Originally from San Francisco, Josh Gabriel began his musical career playing guitar and singing in various rock bands. It was later, when discovering electronic music, that he became passionate about production. In 2000, he met Dave Dresden and they began working together. They quickly signed with the label Nettwerk and released their first album, Gabriel & Dresden, in 2001. The duo quickly gained success with their melodic and emotional trance music. They were recognized as one of the best in the genre and were invited to perform at some of the world's biggest clubs and festivals. In 2006, they founded their own label, Organized Nature, and released several solo albums and singles, as well as two albums in collaboration with DJ and producer Markus Schulz. In 2008, Gabriel & Dresden separated, before resuming their collaboration in 2011. They released two new albums, The Only Road and Remedy, and continued to perform at international clubs and festivals. In 2017, Josh Gabriel released his first solo album, The Upward Spiral. He also launched a new label, Bloom Recordings, and released several singles and remixes.
