Jorio is a French musical artist, born in 1977. He began his career as a DJ and electronic music producer before transitioning to become a singer-songwriter with the release of his album "À l'aube du jour" in 2009. He followed up with two more albums, "Le ciel est bleu" in 2011 and "L'amour est un mystère" in 2013. In 2015, he released a live album titled "Jorio en concert" and in 2016, he released his fourth studio album, "Les rêves sont faits pour être vécus". Jorio is known for his melancholic and romantic songs and is compared to artists such as Georges Brassens, Jacques Brel and Serge Gainsbourg. His compositions often tackle themes of love, disillusionment and loneliness, earning him the nickname of "the chansonnier of modern times". In addition to his solo career, Jorio has collaborated with various artists, including French singer Cali with whom he released the album "Les Amants de la nuit" in 2010. He has also worked with the French rock group Les Wampas, resulting in the album "Les Wampas et Jorio" in 2012. Jorio currently resides in Paris, France.
