BIOGRAPHY
Jo Micali is a French music artist born on March 9, 1984, in Paris. She grew up in a family passionate about music and started playing the piano at the age of 4. At the age of 8, she began studying classical music at the Paris Conservatory and obtained her piano soloist diploma in 1998. In 2000, she studied jazz at the Paris Conservatory and obtained her jazz soloist diploma in 2003. She then studied composition and arrangement at the École Normale de Musique de Paris and obtained her diploma in 2006. Jo Micali then embarked on a career as a pianist and composer for film and television. She has notably composed the music for several French films, including "The Chorus" (2004), "La Vie en rose" (2007) and "A Prophet" (2009). In 2010, she was nominated for a César for Best Composer for her work on the film "A Prophet". Jo Micali has also composed the music for several television series, such as "The Returned" (2012), "Marseille" (2016) and "The Bureau of Legends" (2017).
