Jan Kruithof is a Dutch musical artist born in Amsterdam in 1952. He studied music at the University of Amsterdam and the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, later teaching at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. Jan Kruithof is both a composer and pianist, having written numerous compositions for piano, orchestra, choir, and contemporary music ensembles. His work has been performed in many countries, including the Netherlands, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Canada, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and China. In addition to his artistic career, Jan Kruithof is also recognized as an educator, with appearances at numerous universities and music schools.
