BIOGRAPHY
Jamie Drummond is an English trance music producer and DJ, born in 1974 in London, England. He began his career as a DJ in the capital's clubs before moving into trance music production in 1997. In 1998, he co-founded the label Perfecto Records with friend Paul Oakenfold, a label that was one of the main players in the 90s and 00s trance scene. Under the pseudonym of York, Drummond has produced numerous trance tracks. In 2003, he created the label Alter Ego Records with John Askew. This label notably released albums by John O'Callaghan, Gareth Emery and Aly & Fila. Under the pseudonym of John 00 Fleming, Drummond has also contributed to the production of trance tracks. In 2012, he founded the label Who's Afraid of 138?! with Paul Oakenfold, a label focused on 138 BPM tracks. In 2014, he launched his own Internet radio station, Perfecto Radio, dedicated to trance music. Currently, Jamie Drummond resides in London with his wife and their two children.
