Jake Otter is an independent musician from Los Angeles, California. He began his musical career in 2007 and released his first album, "Songs from the Basement," in 2009. Since then, he has released two more albums, "The Basement Tapes" (2011) and "Live at the Hotel Cafe" (2012). Jake Otter is known for his melancholic, introspective songs, as well as his deep, gravelly voice.
Raised in a musical family, Jake Otter began playing guitar and writing songs at the age of 15. After finishing high school, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his musical career. Jake Otter worked as a waiter and bartender to pay his bills while playing gigs in L.A. clubs and recording his own albums.
In 2011, Jake Otter released his album "The Basement Tapes," which was recorded in the basement of his Los Angeles apartment. The album received critical acclaim and helped Jake Otter establish himself in the independent music scene. In 2012, Jake Otter released his album "Live at the Hotel Cafe," which was recorded during a concert in Los Angeles. The album was well-received by fans and helped Jake Otter grow his audience.
