Jace Williams is a contemporary music artist, born in 1977 in San Diego, California. He studied music at the University of California at San Diego before obtaining a master's degree in music at the University of California at Los Angeles. Williams began his career playing classical music before turning to jazz and improvised music. He has collaborated with numerous renowned musicians such as pianist Brad Mehldau, saxophonist Joshua Redman, and trumpeter Ambrose Akinmusire. In addition to his collaborations, Williams has released two solo albums titled "The Space Between" and "The Time in Between".
