Istar Project is a French electronic music group from Paris, consisting of two members: Nicolas Morin and Benjamin Joubert. Istar Project was founded in 2006 by Nicolas Morin and Benjamin Joubert, who met during their electronic music studies at the University of Paris VIII. Together, they developed a common interest in techno and minimal music. In 2007, the group released its first album, "First Light", which was well received by critics and allowed them to make a name for themselves in the French electronic music scene. In 2009, Istar Project released its second album, "Second Sun", which was even more acclaimed than the first, which allowed them to rank among the best electronic music groups in France. Currently, the group is working on its third album, which is scheduled to be released in 2010.
