BIOGRAPHY
Robbert van de Corput, better known by his stage name Hardwell, is a Dutch DJ and music producer born on January 7, 1988 in Breda, Netherlands. He is particularly known for his electro-house style, as well as his remixes of songs from various genres.
Hardwell started making electronic music at a very young age. He released his first single "Forever Young" in 2006, but only began gaining popularity after the release of his singles "Spaceman" and "Apollo" in 2012. These singles reached the top of international electronic charts.
In 2013 and 2014, he was named the number one DJ in the world in the DJ Mag Top 100, becoming the youngest DJ to receive this honor. In 2015, he launched his own label, Revealed Recordings, on which he released several successful singles.
Hardwell has performed at numerous concerts worldwide, including Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, and Coachella. He took an indefinite break from his DJ career in 2018, but announced in 2020 that he was considering a comeback.
Despite his break, he continued to release new music, including remixes and collaborations with other artists. He is known for his dynamic live performances and innovative production style. He is considered one of the most influential DJs in the modern electronic music scene.
