Grum is a Scottish electronic music producer and DJ. He is best known for his single "Heartbeats", which was a top 10 hit in the UK, Denmark, and Sweden. Grum was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. He began making music at the age of 15 and released his first album, Head First, in 2006. He has released two additional albums, Back to Basics and Bigger Picture, and has also produced remixes for several artists, including Depeche Mode, Erasure, and Pet Shop Boys.
