Eric Prydz is a Swedish electronic music producer, DJ, and musician. He is primarily known for his progressive house and techno tracks. Prydz began his music career in 2001 and has since gained international recognition for his innovative remixes and original compositions.
Born on July 19, 1976 in Täby, Sweden, Prydz moved to Los Angeles in 2012, where he currently works and lives. He has popular aliases under which he releases his music: Pryda, Cirez D, and Sheridan. These aliases allow him to explore different subgenres within electronic music.
His biggest success to date is the single "Call on Me" released in 2004. Not only did this song reach number one on the UK charts, but it was also a hit in several other countries. Some other notable compositions by Prydz include "Pjanoo," "Nitron," "Proper Education," and "Liberate."
