BIOGRAPHY
Emdee (born Emmanuelle de Decker in Brussels, Belgium) is a Belgian singer, songwriter, and actress.
Emdee began her career as a child actress, appearing in films such as The Red Balloon (1956) and The Diary of Anne Frank (1959). She made her debut as a singer in the early 1960s, releasing a series of successful singles in Belgium. She represented her country in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1964 with the song "Dors, mon amour," which finished fourth.
Emdee's career continued to be successful in the 1970s and 1980s, with the release of several other successful singles and albums. She also appeared in several musicals, including Les Misérables (1985) and Cats (1987).
In recent years, Emdee has continued to perform in concert and has also appeared on television, including as a judge on the Belgian version of The Voice.
