Dmitri Federov is a Russian singer, songwriter, and musician. Born in Saint-Petersburg, Russia, he spent part of his childhood in Ukraine and Belarus. His musical career begins in Saint-Petersburg, where he performed in clubs as a guitarist and singer. In 2001, he signed with Russian label Solyd Records and released his first album, "The First Step". The following year, he joined American label Universal Music Group and published his second album, "New Day", in 2002. In 2003, Dmitri Federov released his third album, "Believe", which was moderately successful in Russia and Ukraine. He followed with the publication of his fourth album, "The Best of Dmitri Federov", in 2004. In 2005, he proposed his fifth album, "The Best of Dmitri Federov, Vol. 2". The following year, in 2006, he released "The Best of Dmitri Federov, Vol. 3", followed by "The Best of Dmitri Federov, Vol. 4" in 2007.
