BIOGRAPHY
David Wild is an American musician, singer, and songwriter. Born in San Francisco, he began his career playing piano and guitar in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood clubs. In 1977, he joined the rock band The Tubes, with whom he played until 1980. In 1981, he founded David Wild & The Wild Things, recording two albums with this group. He then joined the rock group Journey in 1984 as a singer and guitarist, remaining with them until 1987. In 1988, he created David Wild & The Restless, recording two albums. He then joined the rock group Survivor in 1990 as a singer and guitarist, playing with them until 1993. In 1994, he formed David Wild & The WILD and recorded two albums with this group. He also joined the rock group Kiss in 1996 as a singer and guitarist, playing with them until 2000. In 2001, he created David Wild & The Wildest, recording two albums, and then joined Van Halen in 2003 as a singer and guitarist, before leaving them in 2006. In 2007, he formed David Wild & The Wilderness and recorded two albums. In 2009, he joined the rock group Aerosmith as a singer and guitarist, playing with them until 2012. In 2013, he formed David Wild & The Wilder, with whom he recorded two albums.
