David Rust is an American singer-songwriter and musician in the popular music genre. He began his career as a singer and guitarist in alternative rock and punk rock bands, before going solo. Rust has released two solo albums, "David Rust" (1999) and "The Way I Am" (2001), and has also recorded songs for various compilations and film soundtracks. In 2003, he formed the rock band "The David Rust Band", with whom he released two albums, "The David Rust Band" (2004) and "The Way I Am" (2006). Rust has also acted in several films and television movies, including "The Blair Witch Project" (1999), "American Pie 2" (2001) and "The Ring 2" (2005).
