David Newsum is a London-based electronic music and techno artist. He began his career in 1995 and has released several albums and singles on renowned labels such as Virgin Records, Deconstruction Records, and XL Recordings. His tracks have been played by famous DJs and producers such as Paul Oakenfold, Pete Tong, Sasha, and John Digweed. David Newsum has also collaborated with prominent artists like The Chemical Brothers, Leftfield, and The Prodigy. In 2006, he released his first solo album, "The Electric Lighthouse", followed by "The Sound of Speed" in 2008.
