BIOGRAPHY
Albert Bouchard, known professionally as DJ Albert, (born July 30, 1947) is a French DJ and producer. He is best known for his work with the group Daft Punk, which he co-produced their album Homework (1997).
Born in Paris, France, Bouchard began his DJ career in the early 1970s, playing in clubs in Paris. He met Thomas Bangalter in 1992, and the two began working together as Daft Punk. They released their first album, Homework, in 1997. The album was a critical and commercial success, and helped to popularize the electronic music genre.
Bouchard has also worked with other artists such as Air, Cassius and Phoenix. He has also released several solo albums, including The Albert Sessions (2001) and The Albert Sessions 2 (2005).
